NORTH CREEK - The North Creek Depot Museum is pleased to announce a $2,000 grant award from the Rivendell Foundation of North River. The Rivendell Foundation, Inc. is a private family foundation established in 2001 by Elise and Woody Widlund to continue the family tradition of commitment to enhancing the quality of life of the community through grants to qualified charitable organizations. The funds awarded to the museum will go toward the revision of the museum's ski exhibit. In honor of the institution's 10 year anniversary, a dedicated group of volunteers are redesigning the current ski exhibit to include a time line of the North Creek skiing industry from its inception during the 1930s up to present day with the anticipation of the Gore Mountain interconnect. The exhibit is slated to open in early July. More details to follow on what is to be a festive event.
