NORTH CREEK Keitan and Saraha Millington were joined by representatives of the Gore Mountain Regional Chamber of Commerce in a mixer celebrating their ten years of service to the Gore Mountain regional market. The Millingtons, both graduates of the Johnsburg Central School, went into business in 1998 next door to their present location on Ordway Lane, North Creek. Originally, they specialized in the sale and installation of resilient, carpets, wood, and ceramic flooring. Later they saw a need for sanding and refinishing of installed floors, the installation of counter tops, and custom bath furnishings. They now also carry flooring and other surfacing materials and supplies to serve the more ambitious do-it-yourself customers. The result is a full service surfacing sales and installation company, doing business throughout the Gore Mountain region. A key factor in In-Styles business operation is their practice of employing full-time rather than seasonal employees. This guarantees their customers the consistently excellent workmanship for which In-Style has established its reputation. The Gore Mountain Regional Chamber visited In-Style Floorings new showroom and shop on Ordway Lane on June 11. They congratulated the Millingtons on their progress from a start-up company to a stable member of the local business community, doing several hundred thousand dollars worth of business each year. Their success story is an excellent example of the results obtainable with dedication, hard work, and careful attention to the details of their projects.
