Some of state Senator Betty Little's constituents got a "robo call" from former New York City Mayor Ed Koch on Tuesday.
Koch told North Country residents that Little, the Republican who represents New York's 45th Senate District, is an "enemy of reform" for breaking a pledge signed during last year's election.
All but one of the lawmakers identified on Koch's list were Republicans. He says the legislators reneged on a written promise to support nonpartisan redistricting, a process that majority parties have traditionally used to retain political power.
Little says she supports the Senate majority's effort to seek a constitutional amendment to reform redistricting, which could take up to 10 years.
North Country lawmakers Teresa Sayward and Janet Duprey were not among the Assembly members that made Koch's list.
