As the colors just began to change in upstate New York, Abby Robichaud and Jason Washburn were married, Sept. 18, 2010 in South Glens Falls. The couple hail from Fort Edward and began the next chapter of their lives after six years of dating. Abby owns her own dog grooming business and works from her home, while Jason is employed with Drywall Center Inc. of South Glens Falls. The couple anticipated the arrival of their big day at a rehearsal dinner at Jake's Roadhouse, a local favorite featuring American cuisine.
Guests were welcomed to the event with invitations designed and printed by the couple themselves.
Abby and Jason were wed at St. Michael's Church in South Glens Falls by Father Tony Childs to the music of Sally Scuderi.
The couple welcomed family and friends to celebrate their wedding at The Great Escape Lodge in Lake George. Abby's favorite part of her day was courtesy of Total Entertainment and Adirondack Wedding Association. The venue was decorated and styled perfectly, she said.
All the smiles and special moments of the day were captured by Paul Saunders Photography and recorded by TR Laz Videography. The couple and their bridal party posed for photos in Crandall Park to a backdrop of fall colors after their ceremony.
A cake was provided by The Lake George Baking Company and the evening was catered by The Great Escape Lodge, offering a buffet that ranged from salad options to chicken marsala, the bride's favorite.Decorations and flowers were provided by Murphy's Cottage Crafts.
The wedding party of 15 was styled by Danielle's Bridal, David's Bridal and jonathan Reid in deep sangria and silver. The bride and her bridesmaids also visited Shear Madness Salon and Total Eclipse Salon & Spa for hair, make-up and nails. Abby and Jason purchased their wedding and engagement rings from Littman Jewelers.
After celebrating with friends and family, Abby and Jason boarded a Holland America Cruise Ship in New York that sailed them to the shores of Bermuda.
