ELIZABETHTOWN - Jenifer Kuba, Assistant to Director of the Adirondack History Center Museum has announced the receipt of a GO grant of $254.91 to allow her to attend the Northeast Document Conservation Center workshop "Digitizing Vintage Photographs and Negatives" in Andover, Massachusetts on April 2, 2009. The grant from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency, and administered by the Upstate History Alliance, will allow the Adirondack History Center Museum to continue meeting the goals of its strategic plan.
The Go grants are one of a series of grants offered to help museums and historical societies strengthen and develop their institutions and work with their communities. These grants, administered by the Upstate History Alliance are designed to make it easy for organizations to access professional help and improve their institutions.
