PLATTSBURGH The Adirondack Young Professionals, also known as ADKYP, will be holding an interactive forum on economic development and talent retention this Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Olive Ridley's, 37 Court St., beginning at 5:30 p.m. The forum will enable young professionals living and working in the greater Adirondack community to discuss economic development and retention of worker talent in the region with a panel of local elected officials. "All are encouraged to attend this lively event to interact with elected officials and current ADK YP members," said ADK YP board member Victoria Zinser Johnson. The panel will consist of Clinton County Legislator Sara Rowden, Plattsburgh City Mayor Donald M. Kasprzak and Plattsburgh Town Supervisor Bernie C. Bassett. The event will be underwritten by the law firm of Whiteman, Osterman & Hanna, who will be providing complimentary hors d'oeuvres.
