Andr頷as nominated for this award by his teachers who would agree that Andr頩s a model student and a thoughtful person. Education is a priority for Andr頡nd he works tirelessly to reach his goals. He has taken a rigorous course load and has shown incredible dedication and determination to reach the level of success he has achieved. Andr頨as been on the honor roll since ninth grade and a member of National Honor Society for three years and has earned many academic awards during his high school years. Last year, Andr頲eceived the Kodak Leadership award, and the Triple C Award from the New York State Attorney General, which is given to a male & female junior student for their Character, Courage, and Commitment. Andr頩s a person of great integrity and is well liked and respected by all who know him. At North Warren, Andr頨as participated in cross country, basketball and baseball throughout high school and has received numerous awards for his dedication and abilities. This year he is also cross country skiing with the school. Andr頩s always supportive of his team mates and is quick to offer leadership, praise and encouragement. Andr頨as also taken part in many community activities and fund raising projects, such as Adirondack Distance Festival Races, Hudson Headwaters Races, Helpers Fund Ski Races, and Dollars for Scholars Races. He has also refereed youth basketball, volunteered at the National Honor Society Blood Drive, volunteered at the Community Thanksgiving Dinner, sung at the nursing home, and done shoveling for senior citizens. Andr頨as been accepted at Siena, Castleton, and Cazenovia and is interested in studying liberal arts. He describes himself as motivated to achieve my goals and put all of my efforts into anything I want to accomplish. We are proud to have Andr頲epresent North Warren School, recognize him as our student of the month and know that he will be a positive influence in whatever he does.
