With double the chance for elimination, area “Survivor” fanatics were doubly concerned about the region’s local contestant.
However, Willsboro native Sophie Clarke did not receive a single vote for her potential departure from the show, keeping her record clean since the first vote of the first episode.
In the ninth episode of the 23rd season of the CBS reality television series, two members of the now-joined “TeTuna tribe” were eliminated, including Ozzie — one of two past competitors to return — and Jim.
Clarke was unable to win either of the immunity challenges, finishing second in the first challenge of the episode behind Jim after not being able to complete what would have been a game-winning move. In the second challenge, she did not even compete, opting instead to enjoy a feast of treats.
While the tribes have combined, Clarke remains part of a group of eight that has appears to have gained the upper hand in the event.
“Survivor” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS Television.
