The Grange Hall Concert Series welcomes back Archie Fisher for one show on Thursday, June 27 at 7 p.m.
A master guitarist, singer, songwriter and storyteller, Fisher returns to the Grange for his only area appearance.
Known throughout the world as Scotland’s premier folk musician, his songs have been recorded by traditional and contemporary artists on both sides of the Atlantic. Fisher is known throughout the British Isles as the host of BBC Radio Scotland’s award-winning “Travelling Folk” show, which he presented for more than 25 years. His career stretches from the folk boom of the 1960s to concert stages and festivals in Canada, the UK and the US. His songs bring the beauty, history, and stories of his native land to to life for his enthusiastic audiences, and his voice is the sound of Scottish culture to his many fans.
