LAKE GEORGE - Featuring food, good spirits and music, Lake George's annual "Spring Roast" event will be held Sunday at the Adirondack Pub & Brewery in Lake George.
To be held April 19 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., proceeds from the event will help support the Lake George Arts Project's many programs which include the Summer Concert Series in Shepard Park, the Lake George Jazz Weekend, various art workshops, and the Courthouse Gallery exhibition series.
Music at the Spring Roast will be performed by the Saratoga-based trio "No Outlet," with Kevin Maul on slide guitars, Tony Markellis on bass, and Dale Haskell on drums. The menu features roast pork as prepared by Ed Pagnotta Jr. from the Barnsider Restaurant. A major raffle prize will be a chainsaw carving of a wood bear which will be carved on premises by Tim O'Brien of Lake George. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under, and are available at the Lake George Arts Project and at the door. If purchased by April 17, adult tickets are $15.
