The Towns of Jay and Black Brook are hereby notifying Au Sable Forks water users in both towns that their water source will be shut down Tuesday, Dec. 20, between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon, to continue emergency repairs to the water main line that was damaged by Tropical Storm Irene. Please be advised this water shut down is for Au Sable Forks Residents ONLY.
It is anticipated that there will be no need for a boil water order. However, if this status changes, a release will be issued.
Residents from either town may obtain bottled water from either Town Office. Water can be picked up at the following locations:
Town of Jay Community Center, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Town of Black Brook Offices, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
