Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice (RAVNAH) has named Heather Baker as the new program manager for CarePlus, the agency's private in-home care program. Baker will be responsible for managing daily operations, supervising staff and developing and implementing customer service initiatives.
"Heather brings the experience and skills needed to strengthen and grow our CarePlus program", says Sara King, CFO and Director of CarePlus. "She already has a first-hand understanding of the clients we serve and a natural ability to connect to people on all levels."
Prior to being named manager for CarePlus, Baker worked for the program as a caregiver. She previously owned and operated a daycare business and taught pre-school for three years at Rutland County Head Start.
A Rutland native, Baker received a B.A. degree from the College of St. Joseph and is a Licensed Nursing Assistant. Baker lives in Rutland with her husband and two children.
CarePlus is a private in-home care program of the Rutland Area VNA & Hospice that offers professional, personal, and companion services to help people of all ages take care of themselves or a loved one in the comfort of home.
