Happy New Year! May all of you have a great 2008, set goals and meet them. Darrell Hitchcock and his family from out west spent the Christmas holiday with his mother Agnes Straight. It is the first time he has been home for Christmas in over 30 years. Many family members of Agnes' was happy for the reunion and getting together. It is good to hear that so many families did get to share the Christmas celebration. It is good to share a meal with family and friends. Fred and Ruth Allen who are vacationing at their home at The Glen were happy to have family and friends stop by to chat. Eileen Cummings enjoyed a visit with Rita Stewart. Eileen took her some soft sugar made by Earl Allen. Rita said she would think of Earl and Bakers MIlls whenever she ate some of the sugar. Esther Gilles from London was happy to spend the Christmas season with her mom, Alice Zahniser. Shelton, grandson of Ken and Rosalie Allen is in Albany Medical Center. His mom, Sarah, is staying in the Ronald MacDonald House close by. We are so sorry to hear that Phil Goodman passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Elke Dunkley was pleased to have an airline ticket sent to her so she could spend Christmas with her son, Patrick and Debby and children in Missouri. Corrina Meade spent Christmas with her sister Kim and family out west. A good time to catch up on family chats. They always have great laughs together. Mike Schilinski and another driver made a quick trip to Texas and back in 5 days. They made sure they were home for Christmas. We sure do Thank all the crews for their hours of labor keeping the roads passable for all of us. All other crews that keep everyone in lights and phone. Keitan and Sarah Millington and family visited Sarahs Dad, Clarence Davenport and family in Albany the last day of 2007.
