Do not forget to turn clocks ahead this weekend. We are almost to spring, but March in the Adirondacks can bring lots of snow.
The smell of maple syrup is in the air. Many are getting ready to tap or have already started the process. Hope it will be a good year. There is nothing like real maple syrup on pancakes and waffles.
There was about 160 people at the friendship gathering for Myrtle and Elmer Buyce. It was held at the Thurman Baptist Church. There was great food and many family members there.
Over 30 people took Rose Allen to China Town on Saturday to celebrate her birthday. It was a beautiful day and fun chat.
Ron and Brandy Millington and daughter, Tearyn from Allegany County enjoyed the weekend with family.
The Monday night youth group from the Calvary Bible Church in Wevertown enjoyed a great weekend at Word of Life in Schroon Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Allan McDonald stayed with his sister and family, Ron and Kathy Allen over the weekend. They visited Allan's Mom, Emma Parsons in the hospital.
On March 13, is the yearly meal/sugar-on-snow gathering at the Athol Town Hall. The event sill raise money for the cancer foundation. There is always good music and food.
