So many enjoyed the past two weekends at the train station in North Creek. The children really enjoyed seeing Thomas the Train. Great to have in the area.
The weekend was the celebration of Memorial Day. Hope you all remembered the ones that are serving or have served. Also, the ones that lost their lives. We remember them and their family.
It was wonderful to see so many flags flying for this holiday. Flags were also hanging from the walkway overpass on exit 22 on the Northway.
Because of last Wednesday's high heat and severe storm there were two forest fires started from lightning. With quick attention, the fire did not spread to any homes.
We are sorry to hear about the death of Larita Stewart. Her family traveled so far to come and share their memories about their Mom. Larita was the post master in Bakers Mills for many years.
Also, sorry to hear about the death of Betty Frasier. She was a long time resident of Igerna.
Elizabeth (Bette) Galusha, Fred Hitchcock, Conner Farrell, Cindy Allen and Sarah Allen Wagner.
Kurt Fuller had a great 10th birthday party on Saturday at his house on River Rd in North Creek. The Bar-b-que was so good. The children enjoyed climbing trees and the trampoline.
Dauphin Conlon celebrated his 10th birthday on Saturday at his home in Chestertown. It was a fun pool party and many friends attended. Dauphin was happy to have his older sister, Shasti Conlon celebrate with him.
Enjoy each and every day.
