KEENE - Sam Earl tossed nine strikeouts for the Beavers, but some costly errors in the late innings allowed Crown Point to pull ahead in MVAC Baseball April 22.
Winning pitcher Justin Potter logged 10 strikeouts for the Panthers in a no-hitter.
Elizabethtown-Lewis 5, Willsboro 4
LEWIS - Home runs by Evan Drew and Ben Goff in the top of the sixth put the Lions in winning position in CVAC baseball April 22.
Down 4-2 in the top of the seventh, John Pollock and Clay Sherman drove in two-out runs for the Warriors to tie it at four all. Tim LaRock's single in bottom of the inning was enough to drive in Dustin Crowningshield for the winning run, however.
Goff, who relieved Mike Gowdy in the sixth, was awarded the win. Lucas Strong took the loss with the blown save.
Crown Point 12, Willsboro 8
CROWN POINT - Willsboro came close, but could not match the Panthers' bats in MVAC Baseball April 24.
The Panthers bolstered Cody Wayman's seven strikeout effort with five extra-base hits, fending off a late rally by Willsboro in the top of the seventh.
Lucas Strong took the loss on the mound for Willsboro.
Beekmantown 21, AuSable Valley 6
AUSABLE FORKS - Alex LaFountain gave up 17 runs in the first two innings as Beekmantown cruised to victory against the Patriots April 27.
T.J. Burl provided an offensive spark for AVCS, going four-for-four, including a double. Kodi Gordon added three hits.
Brett Palmer recorded the win for Beekmantown to go along with four hits of his own.
Chazy 14, Willsboro 0
WILLSBORO - Kaleb Snide's double and home run were the biggest of many hits by Chazy as they shutout Willsboro in MVAC Baseball April 27.
Chris Vliege pitched 10 strikeouts in the win for Chazy as they jumped out to a 10-0 lead by the top of the third.
Jordan Blanchard suffered the loss for Willsboro, who managed only two hits.
Indian/Long Lake 10, Westport 3
INDIAN LAKE - Westport's bats were not enough for Jordon Monthony as Indian Lake/Long Lake defeated the Eagles in MVAC Baseball April 27.
Five Westport players each recorded a single as the Eagles failed to score more than one run in any inning against the undefeated Orange.
Colin MacIver suffered the loss for Westport on the mound.
Minerva-Newcomb 8, Keene 0
MINERVA - Sam Earl and Everett Renderer were the only Beavers to manage hits in a loss to Minerva-Newcomb in MVAC Baseball April 27.
Mountaineers pitcher Brandon Poulton recorded the win, not allowing any hits in the first five innings. Brandon and Devin Tokarz each had four RBIs for Minerva-Newcomb.
Schroon Lake 11, Elizabethtown-Lewis 1
LEWIS - The Lions tried four pitchers, but could not find a way to hold back Schroon Lake in MVAC Baseball April 27.
Shawn LaPier produced the lone run for Elizabethtown with a double in the bottom of the fifth, one of only two hits allowed by Schroon Lake.
Willsboro 17, Elizabethtown-Lewis 11
ELIZABETHTOWN - Willsboro blanked the Lions 6-0 in an extra inning to take a win in their MVAC Softball season opener April 22.
Briana Reynolds and Stephanie Burrows had two hits apiece for the Warriors. Riley Diemand led ELCS with three hits, including a home run.
Marian James notched the win for Willsboro, while Andrea LeVien took the loss in relief.
Crown Point 30, Keene 1
KEENE - Chelsea Dushane struck out 11 as the Panthers refused any hits from Keene in MVAC Softball April 22.
The Beavers gave up 15 hits and 15 errors, with starting pitcher Emma Nye suffering the home loss.
AuSable Valley 7, Seton Catholic 1
CLINTONVILLE - The Patriots allowed just one run on four hits in their season opener against Seton in CVAC Softball April 23.
Whitney Vincent struck out eight and walked three as AVCS built on a 5-0 lead in the first inning. Kelsey Doorey took the loss for the Knights.

Elizabethtown-Lewis 14, Keene 9
KEENE - Alicia Ashe's home run in the bottom of the fourth sparked a 9-7 lead for Keene, but they couldn't hold on against the Lions in MVAC Softball April 24.
Elizabethtown grabbed five runs in the fifth and held the Beavers scoreless the rest of the way as Andrea LeVien recorded the victory.
Emma Nye suffered the loss for Keene.
Elizabethtown-Lewis 5, Indian/Long Lake 4
ELIZABETHTOWN - Kristen Jacques notched three RBIs to power the Lions past the Orange in MVAC Softball April 25.
Andrea LeVien logged the win and Riley Diemand the save for Elizabethtown.
Elizabethtown-Lewis 4, Schroon Lake 2
ELIZABETHTOWN - Freshman Andrea LeViens recorded yet another win in MVAC Softball April 27 against Schroon Lake.
LeViens struck out seven and walked three as she and Riley Diemand combined for a one-hitter.
The Lions managed only two hits themselves, but were able to score a pair of unearned runs in the first two innings before adding another two runs in the fifth.
Korinne Talham, one of three pitchers for Schroon Lake, suffered the loss.
Willsboro 16, Chazy 5
WILLSBORO - The Warriors dominated at the plate April 27 in their win over Chazy in MVAC Softball.
Codia Holland hit a triple and drove in two runs. Ashley Carson and Carmen Ellis each added three RBIs in a 10-hit effort by Willsboro.
Winning pitcher Marian James gave up a home run to Chazy freshman Kristen Doran, but combined with Holland to limit the Eagles to just six hits.
