Courtly Music Unlimited and members of the Adirondack Recorder Band will be giving a benefit concert Saturday, Oct. 8 for victims of the flooding caused by Tropical Storm Irene.
The concert starts at 7 p.m. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Main Street, Warrensburg. Donations will be accepted (in lieu of entrance fee) with 100 percent of proceeds being forwarded to the United Way of the Greater Capital Region.
“We know that many local communities have experienced unprecedented flooding and devastation,” said Brian Stuart, director of marketing and communications for the United Way of the Greater Capital Region.
