ROUSES POINT A benefit dinner for village resident Sharon Ramsey is planned for this Wednesday, June 4, at St. Patricks Parish Center on Lake Street, from 5-7 p.m. The menu will consist of chicken Alfredo, lasagna, goulash, pizza, rolls, dessert and beverage. The cost of the meal will be $8, with tickets able to be purchased at the door or in advance by calling 297-7361. Take-outs will be available and the event will include a 50/50 drawing and raffles. Sharon Ramsey, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, is recuperating from extensive medical treatment. She is credited for having donated several hours of volunteer service to the community, being instrumental in running the annual Children's Christmas Party at St. Patrick's for all Northern Tier children. Ramsey has held craft fairs to raise the necessary funds for the party, and has run the churchs annual rummage sale for several years. She also solicits prizes and funds for the annual St. Patrick's Festival, runs the local food shelf and volunteers her time at the St. Mary's Mission Center in Champlain.
