TICONDEROGA - For some, the Christmas season is not always a joyful time. Many experience a time of sadness or feeling blue due to many different life events. Recognizing this, the First United Methodist Church in Ticonderoga will be having a "Blue Christmas" service Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
Everyone is welcome to this afternoon service of healing and sharing. Pastor Scott Tyler and Rev. Alice Hobbs will be leading the worship service and organist Grace Trombley will provide special music.
The First United Methodist Church is located at 1045 Wicker St. (Rte 9N) in Ticonderoga, between the Walmart intersection and the monument and just up the hill from the hospital.
