BCS security concerns
When asked about security at BCS, Superintendent Ray Ciccarelli, said, We have done plenty. We have installed complete video surveillance in the building and outside areas. It is monitored both in the building and 24/7 by a private security contractor. He said the school has also increased the motion sensors and other electronic devices in the building. The video surveillance is also digital, so it has the ability to be available for instantaneous review by law enforcement agencies at local, county and state levels. Ciccarelli added that most importantly, the school has greatly increased staff training and procedures using newly revised Emergency Management Procedures. The administration is in the process of installing door security and are mulling over the option of moving the principal's office to coincide with the building entry way. Thrift shop days
