PLATTSBURGH During the remaining seminars of a business etiquette series hosted by the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, three more seminars will be presented. The first seminar, Cocktail Party Etiquette, Conversation, and Dressing for Business, will be presented by Dr. Nancy J. Church of the department of marketing and entrepreneurship Thursday, Feb. 21, at 4:30 p.m. at the Angell College Center in the Alumni Room, 101 Broad, St. The event is free. The second seminar, Interview and Meeting Etiquette, will be presented by John Parmelee of the department of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 4:30 p.m. at the Alumni Room at the Angell College Center, second floor. This event is also free. The final seminar, Dining Etiquette, will be presented Thursday, April 10, at 4:30 p.m. at in room 403A at Sibley Hall, Broad Street. It will be presented by Bob Rolfs, of the department of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management. During this event, Rolfs will talk about the proper way to use eating utensils, handle difficult-to-eat foods, and place napkins. A dinner will follow at 5:30 p.m. in Samuel Ds restaurant, also in Sibley Hall. This event will cost $15 per person, and is open to the general public.
