WESTPORT - On Sunday, Jan. 16, CATS and Friends of Poke-O-Moonshine will have a tracking hike in the Lost Oak Valley at Poke-O-Moonshine from 9:30 a.m. until about 1 p.m. The entrance to an old jeep trail which is on the west side of NYS Route 9 between Lewis and Keeseville, about one mile south of the closed Pok-O-Moonshine State Campground. It is at the bottom of a hill. Coming from the south, it is about 3.5 miles north of Trout Pond Road on Route 9.
Those interested are asked to bring Snowshoes, lunch, and water. Skis are okay, but if you bring them, it is a good idea to snowshoe in and then ski out.
