WILLSBORO - The Champlain Valley Film Society (CVFS) announces six movies for its Winter 2011 schedule. Incoming CVFS president David Reuther said "We are incredibly excited about this season's lineup, which features two new films by Academy Award-winning directors, as well as the Best Documentary from Sundance Film Festival, and the winner of the Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actor awards from this year's National Film Board. We are equally excited by two terrific comedies - a modern homage to the classic John Hughes films about appealing high school outsiders, and a brilliant indie comedy that stars some of Hollwood's best actors."

January 22 - RESTREPO
Winner, Best Documentary - Sundance
Sebastian Junger, author of The Perfect Storm, spent a year embedded with a platoon in Afghanistan filming a combination of back-breaking work, fear, and the brotherhood that comes with being a soldier at war.
