PLATTSBURGH - Motorsports fans can get a respite from winter and a look at the cars being prepared for the 2009 racing season at Airborne Speedway when Budweiser presents the Champlain Valley Motorsports Show at the Crete Civic Center.
More than 70 race cars, street rods, go-karts and classic cars are slated to appear, including the No. 24 mount of 2008 Ernie's Discount Tools Modified champion Patrick Dupree of Saranac Lake and the new look four-cylinder NAPA Auto Parts Mini-Modifieds.
The Motorsports Show is bolstered by a wide variety of vendors. Fans are able to informally meet drivers, owners, sponsors and team members in person. Adult admission is $7.
