Dunlap and Libre are friends from Lake Placid, and Boyd is a four-year culinary arts student from Charlemont, Pa. The college offered free chili, cake and hot drinks to the public along with sleigh rides through the woods while many guests took to the trails with their skis and snowshoes. The VIC trails are open daily, and the building is closed for now. Plans are under way to open the building on a regular basis.
