MIDDLEBURYMembers of the Middlebury Garden Club announced the 2008 Garden Club Award winners for the best residential gardens in Addison County. Gardens were judged in August and included 13 private residences and two professional gardens, said Peggy Sullivan of the garden club. Awards are given to non-member gardens. Gardens considered for the awards must be visible from the road. They must demonstrate uniqueness in design, plantings, and overall appearance. George and Beverly Devoid, 578 Maple St., Salisbury. Leona and Raymond Bourdeau, 344 Plains Rd., Salisbury. Mae Roark, 1739 Lake Dunmore Rd., Salisbury.
