The last paragraph in a column written by Plattsburgh Town Supervisor Bernie Bassett in the Sept. 26 edition of this newspaper was inadvertently cut off. The column should have ended with the following paragraph:
The many meetings, special events, communications, budget activity, drafting of new resolutions, proposing policy, developing local ordinances, day to day management, etc. will continue to the end of this year and then we will start all over again as Jan. 1, 2010 brings a new year and new challenges. I will continue to monitor the decisions our legislators in Albany and Washington make while working locally to bring new jobs and economic opportunity to our town. A growing community is a healthy community and, as town supervisor, I plan to continue the progress!
