“Exercise Can Be Part of Your Health Care: A Primer for People with Special Health Concerns,” will be a free community lecture held Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the West Side Ballroom, 253 New York Road.
The lecture will begin at 6 p.m. and feature clinical exercise physiologist Kymberlie Sweeno, who will provide an overview of the role exercise can play in managing blood pressure, anxiety, depression, arthritis, fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and other health issues.
Sweenor, who is the general manager of the Wellness Center at PARC, will discuss how, under the proper guidance of an exercise specialist and your physician, exercise can be a safe and natural part of any health care plan.
“Exercise Can Be Part of Your Health Care” is part of the CVPH Community Lecture Series, sponsored by the Foundation of CVPH.
