TICONDEROGA Tickets for the Tour of Homes presented by the Ticonderoga Festival Guild on Sept. 16 are now available at Rathbuns Jewelers on Montcalm Street in Ticonderoga, as well as from board members or by sending checks to the Guild at PO Box 125, Ticonderoga 12883.
Three homes in Ticonderoga and two in Hague will be open for viewing at 2 p.m. A reception with refreshments will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Hague Creek Caf鮠Their antique shop will also be open for browsing.
Those attending will trade their tickets for maps and information about the houses at 1:45 p.m. on Sept. 16 at the Festival Guild office, 121 Montcalm St., Ticonderoga.
Car pools are suggested because of limited parking at some homes and because of current gas prices. Comfortable walking shoes should be worn.

Looking ahead to October, the guild will sponsor two more events.
A piano concert with a guest vocalist will be held on October 14 at the First United Methodist Church in Ticonderoga. Jenn Moore of Port Henry will be the featured pianist. The concert will begin at 2 p.m. and will be followed by desserts and beverages in the Fellowship Hall. Ticket price is $10 and includes the refreshments.
On Oct. 28, the Festival Guild will host its annual Haunted Hall party for children at the EMA Hall in Ticonderoga. A costume parade will be held, followed by an appearance by Whiffenpoof the Wizard, and traditional Halloween games. Food will be available for purchase from the EMA staff.
