General Electric Rutland and Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to challenge local businesses and organizations to organize a team to walk in the March of Dimes Annual Walk for Babies on Saturday, April 30, beginning at Mill River Union High School in North Clarendon.
The goal of the walk this year is to raise $40,000 for MOD.
Dan DiBattista, plant leader at G.E. Rutland is Chairing the event for the March of Dimes for the second year.
Tom Donahue of the RRMC, suggested to DiBattista that the two organizations team up to challenge the businesses and the community to organize teamd representing their business or organization and to encourage employees and customers to participate. Donahue will be leading the March of Dimes Team Chamber.
