Hall of Fame nominations sought
TICONDEROGA - The Ticonderoga High School Athletic Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for induction. Nominees must have graduated from Ticonderoga High School at least 10 years ago. Nominations must include supporting documentation as to nominees' credentials. Credentials should include factual information and can be in the form of a narrative or resume. Nominations can be made via email at email@example.com or by sending them directly to Jim Wells, Athletic Director, Ticonderoga High School, Ticonderoga 12883. The deadline for nominations will be May 1. The Ticonderoga High School Hall of Fame is sponsored by the Ticonderoga Booster Club. The Hall of Fame induction will take place during the Homecoming/Spirit Week football game in the fall.
Ti baseball registration slated
TICONDEROGA - Ticonderoga Little League and Minor League baseball registration will be held Saturday, March 29, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at JP Sports, 94 Montcalm St., Ticonderoga. To be eligible for Little League players must be ages 9-12and have birthdays on or before April 30. To be eligible for Minor League players must be ages 7 and 8 and have birthdays on or before April 30. Proof of age is required at registration. Ti softball registration scheduled
TICONDEROGA - The Ticonderoga Youth Commission girls softball league will register players Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m. to noon at the Ti Elks Lodge. To be eligible girls must be age 8, but not yet age 13, by Jan. 1, 2008.
Harlem Rockets to play Moriah
PORT HENRY - The Harlem Rockets will play the Moriah "Dream Team" Monday, April 7, at 6:30 p.m. at Moriah Central School. The Harlem Rockets are a comedy basketball team with Globetrotter-type skills. The game includes audience participation. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. They can be ordered by contacting Kelly Cross at 546-7091 or through an order form obtained from the main office at Moriah Central School.
