In the annual "Doodle 4 Google" competition, K-12 students throughout the country are invited to reinvent Google's homepage logo. This year, Google asked students to doodle around the theme "What I Wish for the World." Accompanying this article are the Google Doodle finalists from Vermont.
Vermont's K-3 winners were "Kids in Need" by Lydia Ann Koutras and "World Peace" by Benjamin Gaboriault. The Grades 4-6 winners were "Electric Tree" by Abigail Paul and "If I Drew the World" by Georgianna Chase. Andrew Gayda's "A Clean and Healthy Environment" and Victoria Wolf's "Fading Away" were the Grades 7-9 winners. "Pay It Forward" by Jake Caggige and "Stop Aerial Gunning" by Bonnie Schnabel were the Grades 10-12 winners.
Georgianna Chase's "If I Drew the World" was a Regional Finalist.
