WARRENSBURG - The popular Artifacts Social of the Warrensburgh Historical Society is set for 4 p.m. Sunday April 26 at the Warrensburg Senior Center, 3847 Main St.
Free and open to the public, the event includes participants bringing historical artifacts to show, whether it's old photographs or postcards, books, household objects or tools.
"The Artifacts Social offers an opportunity to reminisce about Warrensburg's past, however recent or distant that may be," Society official Stephen Parisi said.
Previous events featured log-marking hammers, apothecary bottles, advertising thermometers, Hickory Ski Center memorabilia, trolley schedules, family diaries, photos and newspaper clippings, he said.
Barrier-free parking and ramp access for the Senior Center is off Elm Street. Sweet and savory refreshments will be provided along with hot and cold beverages.
The Warrensburgh Historical Society continues to work on the reorganization of the Warrensburgh Museum of Local History, with an anticipated re-opening this summer.
