PLATTSBURGH - I Can Cope, a four-week program that offers information and insights about cancer begins Thursday, April 23 with Learning About Cancer and Cancer Treatment. Each two-hour program begins at 6 p.m. at the FitzPatrick Cancer Center. All classes are free.
I Can Cope can help patients, their family members and friends with the day-to-day issues of living with a chronic disease like cancer. Learning About Cancer and Cancer Treatment will be presented by Kathy Bracero, RN, OCN, an oncology certified nurse. She will discuss the nature of the disease, various treatment options and associated side effects.
