BOLTON - The Indian/Long Lake Orange girls, led by coach John Reynolds, secured another decisive victory last week against the Bolton Eagles.
The Orange challenged the Eagles on their home court and finished the game with 41-37 at the final buzzer.
The game advanced the Orange's dominant position within the MVAC Division III league. They currently stand with a 12-1-0 conference record and are 14-1-0 overall.
The Eagles opened with a solid effort in the first quarter with 10-8 at the buzzer but the Orange retaliated with a 20-17 lead by the half.
A strong rally in the third almost pushed the Eagles ahead but the Orange shut-down their advance with a crushing offensive finish through the fourth quarter.
Orange players Carli Reynolds and Murphy Farrell led their team's effort with 12 and 10 points respectively, with Reynolds chipping in four points from the free throw line.
The Eagles' Danielle St. Amour finished the game with the highest points total, netting 14 for the game.
Katie Bliley and Alana Peterson each drained a three-point shot.
The Orange girls finished the week with three more wins against Crown Point, Minerva\Newcomb, and Johnsburg.
