SCHROON LAKE Lance Gregson 44 died suddenly on Wednesday October 31, 2007 as the result of a construction accident. Born May 20, 1963 in Warsaw, NY, Lances family moved to Schroon Lake in 1969, and claimed Charley Hill Rd. as his own. He graduated from Schroon Lake Central in 1980. Lance raised thousands of dollars for Lance Armstrong Foundation, riding with Lance Armstrong at one point. He even had the nerve to give Armstrong a hard time about stealing his name. In June 2007 Lance rode 800 miles in the Canadian Rockies, raising funds for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Lance was a certified life coach, corporate coach and Live Your Vision coach. He helped many people realize their dreams and exercise their potential through his Breakaway Coaching business. His was a life well lived, though painfully short.
