JOHNSBURG -"Logging on the Hudson" will be presented on Wednesday, April 1, by the Warren County Historical Society and the Johnsburg Historical Society at the Tannery Pond Community Center on Main Street in North Creek. It begins at 7p.m. and is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be available.
The presenters will be Richard Nason and Milda Burns. Richard Nason was for many years a forestry consultant in the Finch, Pruyn & Co. woodlands program. He will show an old film of Finch, Pruyn logging practices during the 1930's and 1940's. Milda Burns will be in costume as a "riverman," and will carry a pike pole.
