Reiki I Class Offered in Ludlow
LUDLOW - A Reiki I Class is offered on Saturday, May 1 from, 8:45 a.m.-5:30 p.m., at Mountain View Physical Therapy in Ludlow.
Join Lauren Potter, Reiki Master Teacher/Practitioner for a one day class where participants will learn and practice Usui Japanese Reiki principles and techniques for giving energy healing to people and pets.
Participants will receive the Reiki I Attunement, a 150 page Reiki I and II manual, plus a set of additional handouts, and be certified as a Reiki I Practitioner. Class is taught in a fun and lively way where questions and laughter are welcome.

Ludlow Graden Club Nursery Trip
LUDLOW - On Thursday, May 13 the Ludlow Garden Club will be traveling to Cady Falls Nursery in Morrisville for a spring garden tour.
Meet at 9:30 a.m. in Shaw's parking lot for anyone who wishes to carpool. Please bring a chair and a sandwich. Hostesses will provide beverages and desserts.

TNT provides four to five months of certified coaching, a supportive group of teammates and clinics on nutrition, gear and injury prevention, to help you complete a marathon, half marathon, triathlon, century ride or hike adventure.
LLS's Upstate New York/Vermont Chapter is currently recruiting TNT participants for events including the Nike Women's Marathon, Marine Corps Marathon & Adirondack Half Marathon.

Humane Society to Yard Sale
PITTSFORD- The Rutland County Humane Society is holding a yard sale to raise money for the homeless animals in Rutland County. The event will be held on Saturday, May 15 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Rutland County Humane Society, 765 Stevens Road, Pittsford.
Join the fun, find a treasure and help raise money for the homeless animals and programs at RCHS. There will also be a bake sale to help raise funds for the animals. The shelter will be open from 10-5 for visiting with the adoptable animals.
RCHS is happy to accept donations for the event. And now is the perfect time to start cleaning out those attics, basements and closets! Please make sure all items are pre-priced (nothing less than 25 cents) and are in working order.
No clothing, shoes, textbooks, magazines or computer equipment. Items can be dropped off at the brown building next to the RCHS shelter on Friday, May 14 from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. or Saturday, May 15 from 7:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. only.

Internet Safety Workshops for Parents
MOUNT HOLLY - The Black River Area Community Coalition and the Black River High School World of Difference Students are sponsoring two Internet Safety/Cyber Bullying Workshops for parents of elementary school students.
Mount Holly Elementary School will be hosting the 1st workshop on Wednesday, May 12 at 7 p.m.
Ludlow Elementary School will host the 2nd workshop on Monday, May 17 at 6 p.m. Childcare will be available, and refreshments will be served.
Topics to be covered will include using the social network Facebook, privacy settings, and general online safety.
World of Difference students will present information on Cyber Bullying & Diversity.
