The Indian Lake Theater will host a community photo festival Nov. 5 at 7 p.m.
Professional photographer Mark Bowie will host the festival, which has the theme, “The Adirondack Feeling.”
Everyone — regardless of age or experience — is invited to submit up to five photographs each by simply emailing their pictures to email@example.com. Scanned versions of film photographs are also welcome. Photos must be submitted by Oct. 21 to be considered for inclusion.
Tickets to this year’s show will cost $5, and it’s free to submit photos to be in the exhibit.
The show will feature the digital photographs of community participants with Bowie’s commentary, and will conclude with prizes celebrating outstanding photographs in a variety of categories. Then Bowie will present some of his own photographs, and will be available for questions about technique and working in the industry.
Bowie is a third generation Adirondack photographer who’s a frequent contributor to Adirondack Life, Adirondack Explorer and many others.
Applicants will be notified one week before the show that their work has been chosen to be included.
