Friends of the Wild Kind Baltimore Orioles have been sighted this year and one mockingbird was seen. Catbirds used to nest here but haven't been heard or seen in years. Swallows are still scarce but have been seen near the Hudson River bridge... Marvin Bissell I noticed a flock of Cedar Waxwings a couple of weeks ago. No fruit in the trees yet so I was kind of surprised to see them this early. Great to be back sharing with my neighbors. Please note that I do this just for fun. I don't get paid, and I don't want to either. I just add the North Creek Enterprise to my e-mail list and they print whatever they like. If you want something to go in their paper, e-mail them directly.
