This year's winter has seemed to be a season of snowstorms and snowdays... with all that extra, unexpected time on your hands, there's no better opportunity than to give your furry friend a little extra loving and attention! Most dogs enjoy nothing better than a good romp in the snow, and your frisky feline would probably be delighted at the chance to chase around a catnip mouse or even just enjoy a good grooming. The next time you are snowed at home with nothing to do... think about a playdate with your pet. You won't regret it!
Our featured pet this week is Rhoda, a domestic shorthair/mix feline whose mostly-white coat is punctuated by swatches of tiger stripes. Her vivid green eyes are full of curiousity and she is inquisitive about everything that goes on in the world. If she were a person, she would be the reporter interviewing everyone and anyone about what might be newsworthy! Rhoda is a personable young lady who enjoys attention and especially the occasional scratch on her chin. She is a real people-watcher with a relaxed attitude philosophy that life is meant to be enjoyed. She would be a great addition to any home, including families with children.
The NCSPCA currently has over 50 cats available for adoption, and around 15 dogs. New animals arrive at our shelter every day. No matter what type of pet you are seeking, chances are we can find a perfect addition to your family. Why not stop by today at 23 Lakeshore Road in Westport? You'll be glad you did.
