About mid-March when Thurman experienced some very warm days, the roadside snow melted throughout town. Did everyone notice the accumulation of bottles and cans, food wraps, and all kinds of garbage? Who do you think should have to clean it up?
Congratulations to Nathan Herrman, son of Rev. Bob and Donna Herrman of South Johnsburg Rd., will be ordained into the ministry on April 4. Nathan is 20 years old and has been pastoring a church in Florida. He will be ordained at the southern Baptist Convention in Florida and his parents will be attending this special event.
Cliff Dureau of Sky-Hi Rd. accompanied by his daughter Colleen and son in-law Tom Inzerillo of Long Island; and by friends Russ and Nereida Howe and son Ryan - also of Long Island - enjoyed the delicious pancake breakfast last weekend at the Valley Road Maple Farm. That evening all of them had a feast - a corned beef and cabbage dinner at the home of Geri Howe in Warrensburg.

The free bus service for all seniors age 60 or over will travel to Glens Falls Friday April 10 for a day of shopping or appointments. Those seeking a ride must call Laura at 623-9281 by Wednesday evening to reserve their bus seat.

Army Specialist Jesse Arnold, son of Lisa and Billy Arnold of Bowen Hill Rd. is now home on leave from Iraq. Jesse will go back on April 27 to his new base in Hawaii.
