As you drive through Thurman you never know what you will see! A local resident reported he was driving up Valley Road and as he broke over the small hill by the Kenyontown Methodist Church he couldn't believe his eyes! A hen turkey was waiting at the front door of the church and not finding anyone there, turned around and calmly walked down the L-shaped handicapped ramp before stepping off and scurrying into a wooded area! This little historic church welcomes everyone into the flock!
