SARANAC LAKE Youll Shoot Your Eye Out... Immortal words of wisdom from the holiday classic, A Christmas Story, which returns to Pendragon Theatre beginning Dec. 20. The film is timeless, but last year's audiences unanimously agreed that the experience of a live performance is memorable. Pink bunny jammies, crazed Bumpus hounds, and last but not least, the iconic leg lamp once again "grace" the stage. Sight gags and comic high jinks aside, what really makes A Christmas Story special is its heartwarming celebration of the friends and family which brighten our lives and the holiday season. This year's cast includes: Kim Andresen-Patnode, Jonathan Frost, Chris McGovern, Davey Milhill, Bob Pettee, Laura Jean Schwartaus-Swanson, Emery Swanson, Silas Swanson, Whitter Swanson, Dylan VanCott, Sasha VanCott. Kent Streed directs. Performances are scheduled for: Dec. 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27 at 7 p.m. Matinee performances (2 p.m.) are scheduled for Dec. 22 and 23. Tickets are: $10 for adults/seniors, $8 for 8-18, $5 for 7 and under At the pre-Christmas performances, Pendragon's board of directors will sell again sell "bulls-eye" cookies as a fundraiser for the theatre. Jean Shepherd's delightful story sold out virtually every performance last year.
