A Lake Clear woman charged in connection with several recent thefts was taken into custody again this week.
Ray Brook-based state police arrested 49-year-old Tracy Joslin of Lake Clear at 4:22 p.m. Monday and charged her with second-degree burglary, a class-C felony.
She was arrested in connection with a burglary that occurred Monday morning in the town of Harrietstown.
Investigators say she allegedly broke into a residence on state Route 30 and stole several valuables, including books, a shelf, and some antiques.
Joslin was arrested twice in July on charges of third-degree burglary, petit larceny, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
The first arrest happened after state troopers pulled her over for speeding on state Route 458 in the town of Duane and caught her with a stolen “posted” sign. At the time, she allegedly refused to be handcuffed.
Then, about a week later, she was arrested after allegedly breaking into a barn in the town of Brighton and stealing gasoline.
Investigators say she also stole items from the Saranac Inn Golf & Country Club.
Following this week’s arrest, Joslin was arraigned in town court and remanded to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail.
She’s scheduled to reappear in court later this week.
