Ticonderoga High School runners fared well at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association cross country championship meet at Pawling Nov. 13.
The meet attracted more than 1,000 runners in 10 races who qualified at sectional meets.
Jay Berube paced Ti, finishing 18th in the boys Class D race. He covered the challenging 3.1-mile course in 18 minutes, 26.5 seconds.
Josh Cook was 63rd for the Sentinels.
Berube and Cook are seniors.
Also representing the Ti boys team were Tyler Belden, who finished 79th, and Joe LaPerle, who was 93rd.
Hannah Herbst finished 97th in the girls Class D race for Ticonderoga.
Alaina Bevilacqua took 103rd place for the Sentinels. Ti's Becky Barber qualified for the meet, but was unable to finish the race because of an injury.
