Ticonderoga claimed second place at the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference boys indoor track and field meet in Plattsburgh Jan. 15.
The Sentinels scored 71 points. Peru won the meet with 86.5.
Jon Granger paced Ti, winning the 55-meter sprint and the long jump. He also ran a leg on the winning 640-meter relay team.
Jay Hebert took the 55-meter hurdles and was third in the 300-meter run. He also ran a leg on the winning 640-meter relay team.
Ken Johnston won the 300-meter run and was fourth in the long jump. He also ran a leg on the winning 640-meter relay team.
Jay Berube won the 600-meter run and was fourth in the 300.
Mike Barber ran a leg on the winning 640-meter relay team and added a third place in the 55 hurdles and a fourth in the triple jump.
Josh Ross was second in the shot put for the Sentinels, Arto Nadeau third in the triple jump, Brandon Charboneau third in the 1,000 run, Joe LaPerle third in the 1,600 run, Javeed Nazir fourth in the 1,600 run, Pat Lonergan fourth in the 1,600 run and Jarryn Granger fifth in the long jump.
Ticonderoga finished fourth in the girls meet with 28 points. Peru won with 70.
Courtney Shaner led the locals, taking second place in the 55-meter hurdles and fourth in the long jump.
Tabitha Taylor earned second place in the 300-meter run, Abigail Gurney was third in the shot, Hannah Herbst was fourth in the 1,500 run and Alaina Bevilacqua was fifth in the 1,000 run.
