WESTMINSTER - Southeastern Vermont Community Action's 2010 Benefit Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, June 3 at the Crown Point Country Club in Springfield. The theme is "Chipping Away at Poverty."
SEVCA is seeking broad involvement by local businesses and individuals in this event, one of the organization's most important annual fundraisers. Participation can take the form of being a sponsor, playing in the tournament or sponsoring a golfer or a foursome. National Fiber of Belchertown, MA has already signed on as a Tournament Co-Sponsor.
All of the event's sponsors will receive recognition in the program and at the luncheon, signs at the event, in local newspapers and on SEVCA's website and networking pages.
To make it even more enticing, there are great prizes, four great Hole-in-One prizes, which include a brand new 2010 Toyota Corolla LE from Durand Ford Toyota, a Royal Caribbean cruise, a $500 pro shop gift certificate, and a set of golf clubs. In addition, there will be a Putting Contest with a $5,000 prize.
