LAKE PLACID The Olympic Center in Lake Placid will play host to a free product sampling on Monday, Oct. 29 as the Coca-Cola Company and the Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) collaborate to host the Lake Placid Coca-Cola Expo. From 2-5 p.m., the expo, located in the Lussi Rink, will be open to the public. Visitors will have the opportunity to receive some Coca-Cola giveaways and taste Cokes newest brands as well as its numerous time-honored beverages. Among the newcomers to the Coke lineup available for tasting will be Vitamin Water, Gold Peak Tea, Juan Valdez Coffee, Minute Maid Smoothies, Bacardi Premium Mixers, Minute Maid Juices, Odwalla and Specialty Drinks. We hope residents and visitors alike will stop in and sample some of our products, said Tom Brown, Senior Sales Executive, Coca-Cola North America Foodservice. There will also be free public skating from 3-4 p.m. in the 1932 Rink Jack Shea Arena. The expo and public skating are open to visitors of all ages.
