PLATTSBURGH - Joseph Burke, former president of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, will return to campus to discuss his new book about one of the leading philanthropists in the North Country.
Burke's presentation on "William H. Miner and the Making of the American Century" will take place Monday, Feb. 8, from 12-1 p.m. in the Angell College Center Alumni Conference Room on the SUNY Plattsburgh Campus.
Burke previously served as president of SUNY Plattsburgh for 12 years, and for nine as provost. He spent a year as chancellor of the SUNY system.
The presentation, which will be followed by a book signing, is sponsored by the President's Office at SUNY Plattsburgh.
